When we say we work as a team, we mean it! TTI relies on the input and involvement of our consumers and their families in developing new programs and projects; providing education, services and supports as volunteers and employees; addressing public, civic, and professional groups; serving as advisors to the agency; and providing critical assessment of services as only a consumer can.
TTI also has an active Consumer Advisory Committee that is dedicated to improving services. The Consumer Advisory Committee provides TTI with input and feedback on issues related to services and supports, future planning and advocacy. Additionally, members of the committee represent TTI in community forums and on Community Mental Health service provider committees.
The Consumer Advisory Committee generally meets the second Wednesday of each month. New members are always welcome. Consumers who are interested can contact their case managers or Laurie Gell at (248) 969-9932, ext. 1061.
