Behavioral Therapist

Provide behavioral services for children and adults with developmental disabilities whose families’ request life-skills/ behavioral training. Services may include vocational, social and daily living skills. Individuals learn skills in both home and community environments. Responsible for admission, transfer, discharge, assessments, PCP’s, individual plans of service, and coordinated services. Maintains a primary caseload consistent with consumer and program needs. Extensive driving throughout Macomb County required. Schedule has non-traditional work hours which may include evenings and weekend hours. Ideal candidate must be self-motivated and driven. Maintain timelines, reports and documentation requirements.

Required: Masters in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology with appropriate credentials/ licensure required.
Must have behavioral therapy experience working with special needs.
