Strong background in providing therapy to children and adolescents with a diagnosis of mental illness and/or developmental disabilities and/or pervasive developmental disabilities and/or behavioral disorders in the school setting. Implement approaches of CBT, play therapy, trauma-focused, and motivational interviewing in psychotherapy with children in Early Childhood classrooms through 2nd grade. Support teachers and staff with behaviors in the classroom. Conduct initial biopsychosocial assessment and develop treatment plans. Maintain clinical records and adhere to timelines; coordinate/collaborate with parents, teachers, school administrators, intermediate school staff and administrators. Able to make referrals for additional services as needed. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs; strong skills in crisis management and the ability to handle challenging situations effectively.

Required: Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling. Must have appropriate licensure.
